Chris and Meghan met in 2010 when they both found themselves working for a high end Denver caterer. Meghan had just returned from a few years working and living in New York City and Chris had just landed back in the States after traveling for the better part of a year in South America. That is when their personal and professional relationship began.

Their initial time with each other was brief and while they kept tabs on each other through social media, it was not until they found themselves planning their own weddings simultaneously that they truly rekindled their connection. Becoming engaged, planning a wedding and experiencing your wedding day all within a month of each other is QUITE the bonding experience. Chris and Meghan learned to lean on each other for support, share the good, bad and ugly of wedding planning, and grow their friendship tenfold throughout those months.

In 2016, the dynamic duo found themselves working together again in the events industry and found out just how well their work styles gelled, their individual strengths and expertise complimented each other’s and their team minded attitudes created an environment of collaboration and creativity. In the same year, and staying true to form, Chris and Meghan both found themselves pregnant with their first babies...both babies ended up being girls...who were born 5 weeks apart from each other. Chris and Meghan were destined to go through life’s monumental moments in tandem!

Fast forward to present day and the two are venturing into business together!  With multiple years of experience in the event world under their belts and the knowledge of how well their partnership worked, they jumped head first into The Collective Events and haven’t looked back.
